FREQUENTLY asked QUESTIONS

  • Fill the form on my contact page and we start from there. I’m always happy to chat more before we finalize the booking so you get all the needed information. Once we’ve organised a date, I will send you a link for your questionnaire to fill out to complete your booking.

  • Would you like to stay in your home and get some photos when you are in your most comfortable environment? Or do you want to shoot outdoors in a dreamy beach location or have some cool street vibes in Helsinki? You can choose the location or we can find a perfect spot for your photo session together. I have few locations I love to shoot at and I will guide you to those ones if you don’t have any preference.

Also we can discuss about the time, but outdoor photoshoots, I most likely want to do close to sunset or sunrise because the light is soft and it usually makes the most beautiful photos. It’s tricky in Finland in the summer, but trust me. It’s worth it! For at home photos, I mostly do morning sessions, but we can shoot any time of the day when there’s enough light if needed.

  • Every session is different!!

You don't have to worry if you don't know how to be in front of the camera. Neither do I. I will offer guidance but most of all I just want you to have fun and enjoy your time together. Love on your kids, chat with your partner, play with your pets. I’ll handle the rest. I hope you can just cuddle and kiss a lot.

As a mother of three, I know that sometimes kids can take a while to warm up or it may be chaotic. This is totally normal and we’ll always capture your life as it is for the camera.

I aim to get those cheeky smiles and gentle touches on my camera. Those small moments in between which capture your true feelings and raw emotions. Mamas hand on daughters cheek or daddy’s tickle.

Just be natural and be you! Give in to the moment!! That’s what you want to remember. I'm there for you and to get those best moments on camera!

  • Good time to have your maternity shoot is around 29-36 weeks. Usually I recommend to have it at 31-32 weeks if possible. Your bump is round and visible already but you’re still able to move around quite easily and there’s not much swelling which you might get at the end of the pregnancy journey.

But at the end we’re all different and your best time might be at 39 weeks

  • Best time to do a newborn shoot is when they are under two weeks old. I will book you in based on your due date and we will confirm the date when bubba is on the earth side. If you feel like you want to book your newborn session for older baby, that’s perfect too. All the phases in the first year are worth remembering.

I love if you have your own special pieces for the baby, like heirloom blanket or tiny beanie made by grandma, but I will always bring some blankets, wraps and clothes with me.

Newborn sessions can be organised either in your home or at the studio.

  • I keep an eye on the weather every day when it’s location shooting time. If weather seems to be rainy, we will reschedule and that is not a problem at all. We’ll discuss about organizing a new photoshoot together.

I can’t promise to shoot during the sunshine only as this is Finland and my summer bookings are usually quite full!

  • Don’t worry, we go over this during our communication prior our shoot. I’ll guide you to the best colours and I do have a beautiful client closet especially for mamas but some for the kids and babies too.

  • My small studio is in Espoo and I travel all over Finland and around the world for photoshoots if wanted. I’ve shot in Finland, Australia, Spain and Netherlands so travel is not a problem.
